When is Doodue coming out?
We’re getting ready to launch on the App Store. Tap “Notify me” on the home page and we’ll let you know the day it’s out.
Which devices does it work on?
iPhone, iPad and Mac running iOS, iPadOS or macOS 26.4 or later. There’s no Android or Windows version.
Do I need an Apple Pencil?
For handwriting on iPad, it’s ideal. On Mac you write with a mouse or trackpad. Tasks, calendar and habits work without a pencil.
Is Doodue available in English?
We’re building Doodue in English and Spanish. The app uses your device’s language.
Your data
Does my data sync between my iPad, iPhone and Mac?
Yes. Doodue syncs your notebooks, tasks, habits and projects with your iCloud account, so you see the same thing on your iPhone, iPad and Mac when they use the same Apple Account. You just need iCloud turned on.
Where is my information stored?
On your devices and in your own iCloud account, so it can sync. Doodue has no servers of its own that receive your notes, tasks or calendars. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I use my Apple Calendar with Doodue?
The first time you open Doodue it asks for access to your calendar. If you allow it, your iCloud events show up in Doodue’s calendar next to your tasks, and you can create, edit or delete them there. You can change the permission in Settings › Doodue › Calendars.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app from your devices and remove Doodue’s data from iCloud in Settings › your name › iCloud.
Plans and subscription
How much does it cost?
Doodue is free to download and has two plans: a free plan with ads and limits, and Doodue Standard, a monthly subscription with no ads and no limits. See what each one includes on the home page. We’ll announce pricing before launch.
How does the free trial work?
The first time you open Doodue you can try Doodue Standard free for 7 days, confirming with your Apple Account. Unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription is charged automatically every month. If you’d rather not try it, tap “No thanks, continue free”.
What happens to my stuff if I cancel?
It stays. If your trial ends or you cancel, you can still view, edit and export everything you made. You just can’t create more than the free plan allows.
How do I remove ads?
With Doodue Standard, which has no ads.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. You can cancel anytime:
- On iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Doodue and tap Cancel Subscription.
- On Mac: open the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, click your name again, click Subscriptions, choose Doodue and click Cancel Subscription.

Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
